Two windows look down at the main courtyard. The extensive room is a triple-aspect space that faces west, east and south. A Renaissance fireplace blends well with exposed joists, giving the room historical charm. The kitchen is fitted with contemporary furniture units. It lies slightly lower down from the lounge.
